The National Retail Federation Student Association (NRFSA) connects college students with opportunities and resources within the retail industry. As Iowa State’s NRF Student Ambassador, I serve as a liaison between the NRF Foundation and our campus, helping grow our chapter, promote scholarships and events, and introduce more students to opportunities within the industry.

One of the most meaningful opportunities I have received through NRFSA was traveling to New York City as a Bright Futures Scholar to attend the NRF Foundation Student Program. During the trip, I connected with recruiters and industry professionals, heard from retail leaders, and attended NRF’s Retail’s Big Show. The experience strengthened my confidence, networking skills, and interest in the retail industry. It also made me want to become more involved with NRFSA and help other students take advantage of the same opportunities that have had such a positive impact on me.
