Embroidered Tote Bag
For one of my close friends, I designed and created a personalized tote bag that reflected her individual style and personality. To make it unique, I added embroidery and chose the fabrics and colors to match her aesthetic, then added meaningful quotes that hold special importance. To make it even more personal, I labeled my name on the bag as a designer’s touch, making it feel truly one of a kind. The project allowed me to create a one-of-a-kind piece that was both functional and sentimental.

Embroidered Sweatshirt

Custom sweatshirt I made for my sister featuring inspirational quotes. This design process included sketching ideas for the placement of the quotes, selecting meaningful phrases, and choosing complementary thread colors to bring the vision to life. This project allowed me to combine creativity and sentiment, resulting in a piece that embodies personal connection.

Upcycled Free People Bag

This project consisted of repurposing a Free people retail bag and turning it into a trendy tube top. I deconstructed the bag, then sewed it together, adding structural elements to achieve a polished look.
Upcyled Hawkeye razorback tank
I transformed a secondhand find into a stylish strapless, backless tube top made for my friend. I carefully deconstructed the original garment into a modern design. This involved measuring and sewing to ensure a perfect fit while maintaining the Hawkeye logo. This project showcases my ability to combine sustainability with creativity.

Upcycled spring break outfits
I turned secondhand finds into custom tops for my sisters and me to wear on our spring break trip, with one piece also reimagined as a cover-up. Each design was tailored to our sizes, requiring sewing techniques to make them functional. The garments consisted of breathable fabrics, perfect for tropical temperatures. This project showcased my ability to create personalized looks for a vacation without breaking the bank.
