In this role, I supported the behind-the-scenes operations of the organization by managing inventory, tracking budgets, and creating monthly performance reports and presentations. I also helped lead inventory sessions, organize incoming products, and assist with the hiring process for the following semester. This experience strengthened my skills in organization, teamwork, and day-to-day business operations.
I currently work on the product development side, helping design trend-driven apparel and accessories for the student-run retail store. My role includes researching trends, creating product concepts and mockups, making design revisions, and assisting with vendor production and product launches. This position has allowed me to build on my operations experience while becoming more involved in the creative side of the business. In addition to being part of the Product Development team, I also work as a sales associate during business hours, helping customers shop our products. Beyond my regular responsibilities, I have the opportunity to be involved in many other areas of the store and work alongside the different teams. We host events, encourage students to sell their own products, and help the marketing team with modeling and content. My favorite part of this experience is how much collaboration happens between all of the teams!
