As a member of the Behind the Scenes (BTS) committee for The Fashion Show 2024, I helped create BTS Day, an event designed for prospective high school students to visit campus, meet current students, and experience a behind-the-scenes look at the show through the dress rehearsal. Participants also attended information sessions led by professors and mentors, where they learned about the fashion program and the opportunities it offers.

This committee meant so much to me because BTS Day was the reason I decided to attend Iowa State. I participated during both my junior and senior years of high school, and those visits made me fall in love with the program. Getting to help lead those same tours and inspire future students felt like a true full-circle moment.
